Research
My research focuses on the effects of greenspace morphology, climate, and other urban environmental factors on the development and progression of non-communicable diseases, such as heart diseases, diabetes, stroke, respiratory diseases, poor mental health, as well as their major risk factors such as physical inactivity. The goal is to explore effective urban greenspace planning and design interventions for population health promotion.

By leveraging massive national wide datasets, including satellite-derived high-resolution greenspace availability data and longitudinal health records, as well as based on spatial analysis and machine learning technology, to better understand the optimal greenspace pattern in cities that benefit human health.
